CustomGPT.ai agents feature modern typography, adaptive colors, refined animations, and flexible styling controls across all deployment options.

Which deployment options support styling?

All of them: Live Chat, Embed, Website Copilot, Instant Viewer, Search Generative Experience, and Share Link.

Are styling options available on my plan?

Almost all styling features are available to everyone, regardless of plan. Removing “Powered by CustomGPT” branding requires a Premium plan or higher.

Do I need design skills to customize my agent?

No. Agents look polished out of the box. Customization options exist for those who want them, but they’re entirely optional.

Are CustomGPT agents accessible?

Yes. Our agents are partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The conversation view scores 95% with zero critical issues; the landing page scores 77% and we’re actively addressing remaining issues.

Do agents work with screen readers?

Yes. We’ve improved semantic markup and ARIA attributes so screen readers can properly navigate and announce content. We’re continuing to refine live region announcements for new messages.

Can users zoom or resize text?

Yes. Users can scale content as needed, including 200% zoom and beyond, without loss of functionality.

What about color contrast?

The conversation view meets WCAG AA contrast requirements. We’re still addressing some contrast issues on the landing page.

Can I customize the agent’s colors?

Yes. You can set primary and secondary colors that affect message bubbles, avatars, starter question bubbles, and the send button. New agents also support adaptive color schemes that automatically complement your brand.

Can I customize the font?

Yes. Choose from available font families including Inter (the new default) and Public Sans in the Personalize settings.

Can I customize the corner style?

Yes. Choose from three styles: Sharp (angular, professional), Soft (balanced, modern—the default), or Round (fully rounded, friendly). This applies to the chat window, message bubbles, input field, and buttons.

Can I customize the agent avatar?

Yes. You can upload a custom avatar image, enable or disable the in-chat avatar, and choose Spotlight Avatar mode with rectangular or round styling.

Can I customize the user avatar?

Yes. You can change the end-user avatar and independently control whether user avatars appear in chat.

Can I customize the background?

Yes. Upload a background image or set a solid background color.

Can I customize the toolbar color?

Yes. Set the toolbar color to match your brand in the Personalize settings.

Can I customize the chat window layout?

Yes. Choose from Focus View (large, centered, immersive), Compact View (smaller, anchored near the chat icon), or Bubble in the Corner (lightweight, unobtrusive).

Can I customize citations?

Yes. You can activate or deactivate citations, change how they’re displayed (inline, footnote style), customize citation labels, and enable image citations.

Can I customize the welcome message?

Yes. Configure a greeting or starter question that appears when the chat window opens in the agent’s behavior settings.

Can I customize the input placeholder?

Yes. Set a default prompt that appears in the chat input box before users start typing.

Can I remove the “Powered by CustomGPT” branding?

Yes, with a Premium plan or higher. You can also add your own branding and logo.

Can I fully white-label the agent?

Yes. Full white-label support is available to remove all CustomGPT.ai branding.
