37+ CustomGPT Platform Enhancements – the June Tsunami

Today, I am thrilled to announce a tsunami of enhancements and updates that should benefit you and your business using our no-code / low-code custom GPT platform. 

What’s shaking at CustomGPT: 

To help you get started: 

Building the custom GPT with your data:

  • We have the industry’s leading solution to build AI with web content – and now we’ve added the auto sync feature. This means that the bot always answers based on your latest web content (even when your content changes!) – this is now available via the dashboard AND API.
  • Our Zapier app lets you connect your data from 5000+ applications (like Google Docs or CRM) and train your custom GPT based on that. 
  • We now have an Atlassian Confluence app – this lets you bring your private Confluence data (with full auto sync) into the GPT’s knowledge base. 
  • We have started rolling out ingestors to bring in your private data (e.g. Zendesk private content) – contact our sales team if you have specific needs. 

Deploying the custom GPT to your website and workflows: 

  • We introduced a new deployment option called “Website Copilot” – this acts like an AI copilot for your website visitors guiding them like a sales or customer support agent (or whatever you need it to be!) – this helps drive sales, leads, ticket deflection and other key results. 
  • You can now have Search Generative Experience (also called “AI Overviews”) on your own site out-of-the-box with our new SGE deployment option.
  • We’ve redesigned our Livechat deployment option for the Generative AI era. This intuitive experience beats out traditional website chat by a mile. 
  • You can now use your custom GPT in a secure private workspace with other team members. Just imagine a bunch of lawyers collaboratively working on a case using their custom GPT.
  • Using our Zapier app, you can query your custom GPT from anywhere (like internal workflows) with no-coding needed.
  • You can now use our native Slack app to query your custom GPT. This brings your custom GPT knowledge to employees working in Slack. 
  • The next stage of AI is agentic workflow – you can already use our Persona feature to build advanced RAG-based agents like sales agents, lead gen agents, customer support agents, etc. (PS: For Enterprise use cases, see below) 

Security, Safety & Accuracy:

  • We are pleased to announce that we are now SOC-2 Type 2 compliant (audited by an independent third-party).
  • We are also now fully navigating data privacy (independent third-party audit coming soon!) – this adds an added layer of protection for businesses in Europe.
  • In case you missed it, we are the #1 ranked RAG solution for accuracy, in independent benchmarks from Tonic.ai

  • To protect your GPTs from spam, we’ve introduced new recaptcha protection. This is in addition to our domain-based protection for your deployed custom GPTs. 

For the Enterprise: 

  • After popular demand, we’ve added support for SOC 2 compliance and SSO to help Enterprises collaborate with their own authentication – this is helping businesses and universities easily deploy and collaborate using custom GPTs. 
  • In addition to SOC-2 Type 2 protection, Enterprises can now collaborate with employees and team members using private workspaces. CustomGPT accounts can now have multi-seat deployments that allow internal employees to securely build and query their custom GPTs.
  • Enterprises concerns with data protection laws (like GDPR and CCPA), can now request a DPA (Enterprise plans only) 
  • We now support Purchase Orders (POs) and procurement processes (like using preferred procurement vendors like CDW). Talk to sales or email your CDW contact. 
  • If you need alternatives other than OpenAI, we’ve now made our platform LLM agnostic and added support for Claude and Llama-3 (available in Enterprise plans).
  • If your query needs go beyond the self-service plans, we now support volume discounts in Enterprise plans. This lets you create large-scale GPTs with billions of words and millions of query/month. 
  • To help you with your AI pilot or domain-specific solution, the Enterprise plans include Dedicated Account Management – our experts will help you towards a successful pilot.
  • We’ve also added Solution Engineering experts to our team to help with Enterprise deployments.
  • We’ve now greatly improved our Chat Log Analytics – all data related to chat logs and the customer intelligence associated with them is available in your account. (new modules for customer intelligence coming soon!) 
  • To integrate chat logs into your own systems, we now support Zapier callback triggers – this lets you integrate the chat interactions into your CRM or log monitoring tools. 
  • If your company is on Salesforce, you can use native Salesforce apps connected to the CustomGPT platform. For example, governments and public sector organizations are using Cloud Synapps to bring AI to their citizens (See Webinar

You can usually get from setup to deployment faster because the June update reduced manual steps across the workflow. The June update added three clearer website deployment paths. Can you customize chatbot personas more easily after the June update?

Yes. The June update highlights Persona as a way to build role-specific RAG agents such as sales agents, lead generation agents, and customer support agents. That lets you tailor behavior to different workflows without changing the underlying knowledge base each time. How do the June enhancements reduce hallucinations and meet enterprise security requirements?

The June update addresses both accuracy and governance. For security and compliance, the platform is SOC 2 Type 2 certified, GDPR compliant, and states that customer data is not used for model training. For answer quality, an independent RAG benchmark found CustomGPT.ai outperforming OpenAI on retrieval accuracy.
